Abbey Ales Abbey Ales is the first and only brewery in the historic city of Bath and has been brewing for over 50 years. The range of beers produced includes Bellringer Best Bitter and Bellringer Maximus, a strong hoppy brew made from Wiltshire Maris Otter malt and finished with the finest Worcestershire hops. Britain in Bloom is the largest horticultural campaign in the United Kingdom. This year is its 50th Anniversary. The winners for the competition will be announced in September. And after some Lebanese food (they have a lot of them here!), we also decided to walk home and burn those calories. In the corner of our street is a flower stand which is literally called "The Flower Stand". My fiance got me a bunch of pink long stemmed roses and eucalyptus.
