I experienced my first Chanel exhibit in Paris  but my first immersive one was in London.  I never missed a Chanel exhibit/event ever since. Red was the symbol of life for Gabrielle Chanel.  In 1924,  she turned an intense vermillion red into her 1st lipstick  — a seductive weapon: a symbol of passion & courage.  As a tribute to the colour beloved by Mademoiselle,  CHANEL presents LE ROUGE .  A unique destination featuring N°5 dressed in red,  curated beauty products,  limited-edition creations,  signature giftwrapping,  special events & more. The pop up is 3 floors. On the first floor is the conveyor belt of your dreams. No,  not sushi! lol Lipsticks of course! And what is a pop up without a selfie mirror. Fairy Godmother Foundation of New York

So for my gala/halloween costume this year, I decided to join the craze of Crazy Rich Asians. I did a DIY version of Rachel Chu’s Marchesa dress that she wore in the wedding scene. It was easy to make. And I was thinking that most people may not even notice it since for sure not everyone watched the movie. And I was correct! Half of the people knew who I was dressed up as. And half thought I was dressed up as a “princess”. my carriage back as a pumpkin after 12 MN. lol Funny enough,  when I got a prize for one of the best dressed, the judge said, “that princess in a blue dress”. lol And he was in shock to learn that my name is Princess. That was hilarious! Anyways,  let’s get into the purpose of the gala.
